Battle for the Fort

Ascent Studio is stoked to announce our 5th edition of Battle for the Fort, one of Colorado's most anticipated bouldering competitions!

This year we are going bigger and better than ever, with a 15k cash purse for our open competitors paying out through 10th place for the male and female categories, and will have a 10k gear prize pool for our citizens round! Our citizens round has beginner, intermediate, and advanced categories for male, female, and non-binary competitors.

There will be food trucks, beer, a raffle, a live DJ, fun intermission games, and so much more. All competitors will be going home with a limited edition Battle for the Fort shirt, Battle for the Fort stickers, food/drink from our sponsors, raffle tickets, beer tickets, and more!

Open Round Information

Our open round is for our elite/pro level athletes, or anyone who is comfortable climbing V7+. The top 6 competitors from each gender division will advance to finals at 7:30 PM to compete for cash prizes.

Registration includes competitor swag bag with a competition shirt, one raffle ticket, and one beer ticket (21+), stickers, and more. The top 10 competitors will receive a cash prize.

Citizens Round:

Our citizens round is open to all climbing experience levels! The top 3 male, female, and non-binary competitors in each category will win awesome prizes from our sponsors.
