The Yank-N-Yard consists of three competitions; Open, Youth, and Citizens but it's not just a competition; it is an annual gathering of the Southwest’s climbing community. Each year we strive to grow and provide a spectacular event while strengthening our local and national communities.

OPEN COMPETITION

$15K prize purse

Returning to our classic format, the YNY is the best little climbing competition in the country! Qualifiers will take place on the evening of October 18th and the big show and party are on the evening of Saturday, the 19th. You will not want to miss watching the men and women open finalists competing for their chance to win big. And we're bringing it back! The finals will feature 4 zones including 2 highball zones over airbags.

We will continue to open up the prize raffle to any open competitors that do not make finals.

Youth, Citizens', and Open Competitions

Advanced Registration (closes Oct. 13th): $60/person

Late Registration (Oct. 14th-19th): $75/person

Group Registration (closes Oct. 13th): $50/person for 8 or more

All Volunteers, Youth, and Citizens competitors are entered in the prize raffle! Open competitors who do not qualify for finals are also entered.

Youth Recreational Competition

Are you interested in a fun, friendly, youth-only competition? The Yank-N-Yard Recreational Comp is for you!

This is a competition for every youth rock climber! Our boulder problems will provide a fun challenge for climbers of all abilities, with grades ranging from V0 to V10 and up.

This event is an Albuquerque staple and is our way of celebrating the strength, diversity, and creativity of our local and national athletes.

‍Athletes are only allowed to compete in and register for one comp, including open, youth, and citizens.

Food & Finals Viewing Ticket

This ticket is for anyone who did not compete or volunteer and wants to enjoy the party and show!

Fill up your plate, grab a cold drink, and enjoy the best show of the year, Yank-N-Yard Open Finals! Tickets are $20 per person and includes a meal and beverage at our party before the show. With live music from the Stray Dawgs.
