PROM!

You are cordially invited to our sixth annual Prom! Find a friend, sweetheart, or suitor and register for our Partner Climbing Competition.

Our setters are putting up some stellar problems and unique challenges that will require communication, coordination, and cooperation. Come show that your friend/relation/belaytion-ship is best. Climbing-modified black tie optional but highly encouraged, bonus points for themed outfits! Corsage and Limo not included.

The evening will include:

• 3.5 hours of partner climbing. No categories, just a whole lot of fun.
• Partner-themed fitness challenges for bonus points.
• Prizes for the top scoring pair, who will be pronounced Prom King(s) and/or Queen(s)
• A raffle.
• Food & drink provided. There may be punch.

Partner climbs will be set with two different color holds, and in such a way that it is impossible (or very difficult) for any one climber to get from the start to the finish using just one color. Each climber in a pair will decide which color they will use, and will be limited to touching that one color while attempting the climb. Climbers may (and more often than not, must) use each others bodies to navigate the climb. Points are awarded for how far along the climb each pair gets, and bonus points are awarded for participating in the fitness challenges AND for competing in coordinated themed outfit. This competition will be open to competitors 13 years old or older.

• We are accepting the first 60 pairs, or 120 participants TOTAL!
• Registration for the competition must be done via the Calendar at the bottom of this page, and must be done in pairs!
• Please note that due to the nature of the climbs we will not be facilitating “matchmaking” for participants registering individually. Everyone should register with someone they are comfortable being in close contact with.
