Flash Freeze

Flash Freeze is a climbing competition in extreme weather, i.e. on the roof at night in the winter! For two hours, see how many problems you can complete. The climbers who have climbed the most win!

Food and drinks will be available from our rooftop popup so you can stay cozy and warm around the fire pit. Free hot chocolate and snacks for competitors.

RULES

• Sign up below
• Competition is free with membership or single visit pass
• Self-select which category you are competing in
• Frosty: Green - Orange
• Freezy: Orange and above
• Climb as many problems as you can in two hours (outdoor walls only!)
• Using the scorecard we will provide:
• Track how many problems you complete—no repeats!
• Track how many times you fall
• Falls do not need to be tracked per climb; they are just tracked as a total tally as potential tie breakers
• Scorecards are due at the collection bin at the cafe bar at 8pm
• Totals will be calculated and the winners announced at the prize ceremony at 8:30pm on the roof
• Winners can choose prizes from various options, including chalk bags, local business gift cards, VITAL merch, and more!
